"The Yellow House was clean and comfortable. Paulo’s mother was lovely, greeting us and pouring us port to celebrate our arrival. She kindly showed us the basics of our place, and even walked us down the street to show us where to go and eat. Fado Portuguese was so close, great food, wine and live Fado. Be healthy and reasonably active…lots of hills to climb here, but so much to see."

"When I picked this location I didn't know anything about the area and proximity to the sites we wanted to see. Having stayed here, I LOVED this house. However, I wasn't as close to the areas I wanted to be with this pick. The house is great. The property is just special. The owners are so nice. Having a dryer was a real treat. "We moved from another place on short notice, and they were very accommodating. We visited Porto, Aviero, braga Arouca, 516 bridge and Gaia. It is located in a little town and is on a private street where we could park right in front. It was walking distance to restaurants and various things. Not a lot of businesses in the town but we purposely wanted a quiet place. The apartment was on the first floor, which is one up from the ground, and what was the equivalent of a house. "This is the second time I stayed in this wonderful house! It is ideally positioned: quiet typical neighbourhood, small grocery shop and bakery 3min walk, bus to Porto 5min walk, sea/beach 5min walk. Owners are so welcoming, house has everything you could possibly need including Nespresso machine. Rooms very nice and beds very comfortable.
