"This was a unique opportunity to experience local life. The cottage is located on the premises of a working farm and you are free to walk and explore. "Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"The property was wonderful. It felt traditional, yet modern. Mark and Lerryn were fantastic hosts. They were always on hand should we need any help or support. The pool and patio area were sublime. We spent many a day relaxing and cooking in these areas. The only negative that we experienced was how uncomfortable we found the beds. "We had a lovely stay in Alcobaca. This location was perfect and the pictures don't do it justice. The view is breathtaking, the pool is refreshing and the hosts are doting! It was quiet and serene and closeby to everything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here. Highly recommend!"

"Very nice and clean flat in a good location to explore this area of Portugal. It is within walking distance of the town of Fátima and very close to an Aldi. Check in directions were easy to follow. The only issue is the sloped ceilings of a loft apartment that you always must be aware of, especially if you are tall! We enjoyed our stay here."
