"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay."

"This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. "

"My adult children and I had a wonderful stay at Vista Colina. The home is in a peaceful rural area with gorgeous views in every direction. Jeff & Judith made every effort to make us feel welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed the home with its very clean and spacious areas, and lovely yard with the pool. "This new renovated property was lovely for a four day stay. There is lots of room indoors as well as outside for the kids. We enjoyed the fire in the lounge and were glad of the blankets and radiators in the bedrooms which made a cozy stay when the weather wasn’t very good. We had good day trips to Tomar, Fatima and Batalha. We would come back again in the summer to make good use of the pool and veranda."

"This is a lovely, older home with a gorgeous view of the Monastery. It is a very short walk into the town (although down a very, very steep hill) where you can get coffee and fresh bread. "Very nice and clean flat in a good location to explore this area of Portugal. It is within walking distance of the town of Fátima and very close to an Aldi. Check in directions were easy to follow. The only issue is the sloped ceilings of a loft apartment that you always must be aware of, especially if you are tall! We enjoyed our stay here."

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."
