"This guesthouse surprised us with a Hostel sign out front but our room was hotel style. Breakfast was good, everything was fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was tight but good enough for us. Street parking is also available closer to the monastery. The monastery and the downtown was a short 5 minute walk. Location would be hard to beat. I always ask myself and travel companions, “would we stay here again?” Yes."

"The apartment is nice but since this is NOT a hotel there is no front desk and you need to tell in advance what time are you arriving so they will be there. "Very nice and clean flat in a good location to explore this area of Portugal. It is within walking distance of the town of Fátima and very close to an Aldi. Check in directions were easy to follow. The only issue is the sloped ceilings of a loft apartment that you always must be aware of, especially if you are tall! We enjoyed our stay here."

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."
