"The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as we have bad backs and often struggle to sleep while travelling. "Very nice, but the night before we were to arrive we were told the swimming pool was not functioning. Bearing in mind the one day was in the mid thirties, this was disappointing. Our room had an artisan working all day, on both sides of us. One night I had to ask him to stop hammering on our walls at 8 o' clock at night. The hotel staff and very nice and considerate. management need to up their game."

"Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite "

"Marie is a warm and inviting host, nothing appears to be too much trouble. Our room was spacious with an outdoor seating & patio area. The guest house is on the edge of town and so we used a cab service when heading out for dinner in the evening. Marie organised and booked(very cheap and nice driver) She also recommended 2 restaurants where the food was very good. The Swartberg Pass drive was something else and we were glad to reach the very lovely Prince Albert town which was lovely. The Caves...

"If you are looking for a peace and quiet weekend, this is the place. no television just the nature. It can get a bit hot - no aircon - there is a fan that help a bit. Good value for the price."

"Annalee was very accommodating when we arrived late and still gave us the full tour and description of her property. The area has lots to do with ostrich farms, Cango caves. Bufflesdrift Lodge is nearby is a great place for dinner. Bufflesdrift also has elephant tours and feedings etc!"
