"The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as we have bad backs and often struggle to sleep while travelling. "Disappointed that the bathroom did not have a door. The toilet had but getting out of the shower meant hiding around the corner or making sure the curtains to room were closed. Not ideal when staying in a twin room with the opposite sex. Breakfast was reasonable. Omelette was more of a crepe. Some of the buffet food was uncovered, which attracted flies. "

"The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good. However, the room (R5), was a bit worn and tired looking and lacked privacy from the adjacent pool area and the walkway to the other units. The main restaurant street is a 20 min walk away and walking after dark was not recommended. Overall, it was an ok one-night stay. However, we had expected more based on the ratings."

"Loved it! Stayed there two nights, great pool and beautiful chilling area. Could chat with other guests and have some social interactions. Kitchen has all that you need, including gas stove for when load shedding happens. Would not choose any other place, this was perfect for our romantic stay."
