"House was very clean, modern kitchen, bathrooms were very clean. Nothing negative to say about the house or the Owner. Renters should be aware that they list two single beds in the basement, they are cots also the house is in a neighborhood and does not give you that Catskill feeling. Patio furniture was a little rough and we would not sit on it. The pond was very shallow and not really useable for any activities. Plenty of firewood for bonfires. "

"We had a relaxing week staying in this cozy house in the woods. The house is clean and stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed cooking each night (grocery store just 4 miles away), and hanging out on the deck. The property is beautiful and the dogs enjoyed their walks down to the lake, nights by the fire pit, and we even took the rowboat out for a ride. This was the private relaxing retreat that we had hoped for. Thank you Steve for your hospitality!"

"Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

The amenities, decor and details were all perfect. We would definitely stay at this location if we were back in the area. Cat is a lovely host and responded immediately to my messages. "Easy 30 minute drive to West Point. In the country, yet outlet mall, restaurants and things to do all within 30 minutes. Very responsive when I text as the keypad didn’t work. They let us in remotely. We had several in our family and we were all comfortable. Nice fire pit, swim spa, and clean. "
