"The house is situated at the end of a point on lovely Lake Eden. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves to enjoy in the mid-winter! We had a glorious sunny day to play outdoors with our dog, and the house was cozy and warm. We used the wood fireplace for ambiance and happily read our books. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances all work well. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms clean. The mudroom entrance is perfect for wet boots and all of your gear. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. "The place is right in town within eyeshot of the trailhead, and a stone’s throw from the Tiki Bar (a landmark for cyclists). Interior is excellent, fully updated and great for a group (6 beds, large kitchen, big dining table and comfortable living room). Has a lockable bike shed too. We stayed for three days (rode for 2 and skied for 1). Had an amazing time, will be back!"

"Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch.
