"We were highly impressed with the location of the cabin. Upon our arrival in early January, we were greeted by a picturesque winter scene that exceeded our expectations. The cabin itself was exactly as depicted in the photos, having all the indoor/outdoor space was a huge plus and the communication with the owner was outstanding from the moment of booking through to our departure. We highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return in the future."

"Not one caveat on a very positive impression. The house is supplied with all sorts of kitchen needs, entertainment, and household items. It is located in a natural setting amidst trees yet very close to the main road within two miles of Jay Peak. The owner responds very quickly to queries. "We had an amazing time at the Abbot Hill Chalet! What a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains. The house was in a private well maintained property, plenty of bedrooms, towels, soap, basics for cooking. The property was plowed and had plenty of firewood for 2 wood burning stoves. We loved the hot tub! and 2 living areas. Our girls loved the hills around the property for sledding. The hosts were very prompt with their communication and sent their handyman when we had an issue with a faucet....

"Great open kitchen/dining/family room area with nice fireplace for meals and gathering. Bedrooms as pictured. Right on mountain trail, but you do have to hike up a steep/bumpy path and up steep embankment to get onto actual ski trail. We managed, but it was hard in ski boots and hard for the kids. So not exactly an “easy” ski in/ski out but definitely close trail access."

"Dean communicated very well throughout our stay. Prior to our arrival he sent information about how to get into the rental, heating instructions, house rules, garbage, and wifi. I found this information to be very useful. The house has a smaller kitchen, but larger bedrooms and living room. Bathrooms were clean, hot water, and fireplaces worked great. "Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch.
