The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat."

It retains many of its historic features while providing modern conveniences. As mentioned, there was significant noise with heavy traffic use at certain times of the day. "
