"Property was super convenient being so close to Nishiki markets so we really appreciated that. The room itself was also relatively spacious but is really showing its age. The carpet especially looked so stained and the room had a really bad stench to it that we had to spray quite a bit of air freshener. Also we stayed on the ground floor and could hear everything (even footsteps) from the room above us, so don’t expect a quiet stay if you get the ground floor room. "

"An amazing experience given the apartment had a private onsen, but the multiple rooms were amazing along with a decent sized fridge free washing machine and coffee machine. "The Family Inn Kei was close walking distance to a few excellent temples and shrines. For public transportation, bus service is minutes away, Tokufuji Stn (next to Family Mart convenience store) JR and Main subway system is a short walk (under 10 minutes) and Kyoto Station less than a 15 minute walk away. Lawson's convenience store is just a minute or two walk! Not too central for many restaurants, but we used the microwave for most dinners."
