"We stayed here at the end of August 2023 (family of 10). Had a lovely time and great memories made! Supermarket is about a 10 minute from the property and a Lidl a short cab drive away. The villa had everything we needed in terms of cooking equipment and a decent sized BBQ which we used a couple of times. The beach is a bit further of a walk around 20-25 mins. "We had a two bedroom suite at the Residences. Hotel is beautiful but it is very spread out. To go to beach and main hotel building you need to take a shuttle which you may need to wait for 15-20 minutes. For a 5 star resort service was a bit spotty. We had a mishap at breakfast- was told we can do a la cart instead of buffet but ended up waiting for 1 hour to get eggs which was ridiculous. This hotel is also outside of Albufeira so location is not super convenient - you have to drive to town. "
