"Thank you. Paulo was great and explained everything in detail. Amenities were well thought thru. Even with being in the noisy touristy part of town, being in the apartment was quiet and serene. Rooftop with hot tub was a bonus. We would recommend this company and their properties. "

"Interesting place that seems like has been there a while. It has a little bit of everything so one doesn’t really need to go out for anything but the beach. A pool & games, a pool table, a hookah room in an enclosed space outdoors, an honesty bar, free breakfast, dinner available. However, it is getting a bit dated and overrun by the amount of items the place has acquired. Beds were hard. People were accommodating though and it was well priced."

"The guest house was fabulous!!! WE had a wonderful time and will stay here again. The guesthouse is in a perfect location to the beach and the old town with lots of things to do. Food was great and lots of restaurants."

"The hotel was in a perfect spot for us, two middle age gents over for the weekend playing some golf. Close enough to the old town craziness for a drink and some food but not on your doorstep. It is also in the perfect spot to pick up the main road and get to the courses. We never waited more than 2min for an Uber. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast buffet served its purpose. "Very nice hotel. Clean, spacious and also very quiet, which was good. The location was also good - walk distance to beach, old town and the stripe. The meal (breakfast and dinner) was average. One thing not very happy was for arrange a taxi to Faro airport - was told by the front desk staff that they could arrange taxi with fixed price of 50euro but actually the driver charged by meter for 56euro saying never be fixed "

Excellent apartment in perfect location

"The apartment is exactly as it appears on the listing and it is very well laid out and thoughfully equiped. It was nice having two bathrooms and the showers had good water pressure. We loved the location. We arrived by Flixbus and as a bonus, the bus stop was just a few minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is on a wide pedestrian street bustling with life and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching people go by and the children running around. We were there in December and the Christmas light displays were just outside the door. As some reviews have said, it was a bit noisy some evenings but it was never too loud and did not go late.In fact, we rather liked the feeling of people enjoying themselves around us. For general convenience it could not be beaten. It is a short walk to the beaches, the old town, and the marina. There is a small but good grocery store close by and the larger Lidl and Aldi stores are about 15 minutes walk away. We also enjoyed short runs in the Ribeira Park accessible by an underpass at the top of the road. Last but not least, our hosts were gracious and helpful. They were waiting for us at the bus stop and took us to the apartment to show us around and encouraged us to contact them if we had any questions about things to do in town. They made us feel very welcome. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and certainly plan to be back. "

"Vila Origens is an amazing find. It is in the heart of the old town of Albufeira, literally built next to the city castle wall, hence their name. Their infinity pool is right next to the 1000 year old castle wall, with a breathtaking view of the village hills. This is a new vila so while the location is ancient, the facility is cutting edge including floor heating in the bathroom which dries up the shower remnants rapidly and leaving the bathroom fresh. The free breakfast buffet consists of an amazing spread of local cheese, cured meats, pastry and fruit, a king’s feast all presented on a nice platter brought to our table. The best part of this place is the staff, particularly Vera who was born in town and a true local and gave us the local view of this old fishing village that has in the last 15 years turned into a hot tourist spot. If you are looking for a boutique resort with all the amenities you can ask for, in the best location of town and a super nice staff, Vila Origens is it! "

"We stayed here for 4 nights and our stay was great. The staff on reception were so friendly and helpful and greeted us every time with a smile and hello as we were on the same floor. The staff at breakfast and at the bar were also friendly and welcoming. Our room was great with a balcony over looking the pool. The spa treatments were great and value for money was amazing. The only thing to comment on which wasn’t too big an issue was the ‘gym’. An outside area with machines which were weathered and not your usual expectation of a gym. There were lots of reviews commenting about the noise but yeah it was noisy when our balcony door was open but not enough to interrupt our sleep or put us off our stay. Great hotel for location and great facilities with great people that work there."
