"The Brown Hotel is my favorite place to stay in Louisville. My girlfriend and I stay there at least once a month. I love every aspect of this hotel except for the way I was treated both times at the lobby bar. Both bartenders on the last two occasions were extremely rude to me and my girlfriend. We just wanted a few drinks and some dessert. The waiter after ignoring us for over a half an hour came over telling us that the kitchen was closed. "Liked this place. The staff was great and very nice. Has a nice lobby/bar area. Free parking onsite. The only thing was the bed was uncomfortable. At least the room we had needed a new mattress. You could feel the springs and both of us would sink to the middle laying on it. Needless to say we did not sleep good. "
