"Very convenient to get to the Mt Whitney portal and plenty of food places around. The staff appear to be a family that live on the property so they’re very aware of security issues. I’d definitely stay there again and cheaper than other places. I’d only recommend taking a travel soap bar since they only give out those tiny ones and have not converted to liquid dispensers like some other motels/hotels."

"This is a small house a block off the main street in Lone Pine, which is a small town. Other than being right across the street from the fire house, it was quiet at night and quite private. Despite appearing old, it was exceptionally clean. Everything in the kitchen worked and there was a great assortment of utensils and cookware. My one suggestions is to bring a small nightlight. "Great location. My wife and I enjoyed the location, perfect to take you road bike out and climb the big climbs. Sandwiched in between mt. whitney and horseshoe meadow.
