"This property and staff were so great, their slogan is "experience private island living", and it is very true. We were prepared and had a wonderful time after reading previous reviews, we brought snacks and a water bottle and cash. Knowing it was very isolated, as such you are completely dependant on the resort for food, tours and transportation. There is no close towns and no nearby ATM. You will want to budget for airport shuttle about the amount of a night stay as it is 1.5 hours from airport. But you gain the individualized attention from the staff. Leo is a fantastic guide if you choose to go on an outing, easygoing, personable, and attentive. Meals at restaurant range 300-700 PHP per dish Internet is spotty but works for emails and chatting. Out of the resorts control there are visitor taxes that are collected while on the shuttle to the resort at checkpoints.(Approx 200 PHP per person per each side of island) It is quiet peaceful and stunningly beautiful. "

"The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is meticulously clean. It is very quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Airport transportation was smooth and arranged by the hotel staff. Port is 5 min walk away to hire a boat to go to magical islands within 20-30 minutes for snorkeling, swimming or seeing the rock formation and amazing nature. We would be repeating our visit here!"

"Very very good value for money. Nice large room with an amazing view. Good air con. Front desk couldn’t do enough for you, cheap laundry, filtered water available for free. Compared to other places it’s amazing value. Only downside I would say is the bathroom is very dated and the entire floor gets wet when using the shower as the drain is not the best, but for the price you can’t complain. "

"Exceptional service, great food and lovely cocktails. the dive shop was very professional. really unique beach rooms, but will mention only one of the two beds in the beach huts has air conditioning. that said, with the wonderful breeze, heat wasn't an issue. the transportation to and from the airport was great. a really special place."

"Our family loved our stay at Busuanga Bay Lodge! They provided personalized, detailed service from beginning to end. I was able to arrange for airport pick-up with a single WhatsApp message, and our friendly driver was waiting for us even with a delayed flight. AJ the GM introduced himself on day 1 and checked in on our family to ensure our needs were met. The food was amazing in quality with a wide selection…before arrival, I was worried we might be bored with the menu since there is only one restaurant on property. But we loved every meal and had so many options! The front desk arranged a full day snorkel and swim for my family of 4 with a convenient pick-up at our hotel pier with a private guide. At the same time, they arranged for a perfect 4-hr boat sightseeing afternoon tour for my elderly parents. It was a wonderful day for all! We loved our stay, and this property is a gem. It really beats the crowdedness of Coron, still with all the amenities you look for when planning a Palawan getaway. Thank you to AJ and his amazing staff!
