"We really enjoyed our stay for a few days of nordic skiing. Sunflower Resort is conveniently located a short walk from the Winthrop trailhead and a short distance to the local grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The Coneflower cabin was immaculately clean and had plenty of space for 2 couples. The kitchen was stocked with enough basics for preparing meals. "This place was immaculately clean upon arrival! The cabin is very comfortable with everything you might need for your stay. We really loved the surrounding area and the absolutely stunning views! Not too far from Winthrop so that you can do some winter activities. Beware of winter visits because the drive up to the cabin is extremely steep and very slippery!! Chains are needed and extreme caution. "

"Our room was just like the picture. We had lots of room and the bed was comfy. The shower head was rather low; I am 5’4 and it was at forehead level for me. The little balcony would be nice in the summer, but oddly enough we didn’t use it in 24 degree weather. It’s not far from town but it isn’t safe to walk on highway 20 so we drove in. Overall it was a nice stay. It is rustic, to go with the town’s theme, but we had everything we needed. "

"Very serene, beautiful setting. Just didn't work well for me not to have running water. For the rather high price of lodging, I wanted a little bit of luxury. Would be perfect for someone who prefers accommodations that are a bit more rustic. "
