Spacious room with nice back porch fronting the river. Just wished dining room opened earlier than 8 AM so that dining times can be staggered throughout the morning. As it was, seems like everyone who wanted to head out early was there and the wait times to use the microwave, toaster, or waffle maker got longer.
The view of the river was spectacular. Everything else was fine. Super loud room heater that made it hard to sleep and they used an air freshener that was too smelly making a chemically sensitive persons stay uncomfortable. Staff was not friendly but fine. It was clean and in good repair but nothing was unique or special. Don’t think there was a hot tub for hotel guests as advertised. For the cost it was worth it.
Love the walkway and pedestrian bridge to town. Fairly quiet setting, all was in order in the spacious room, could hear the trees in the wind and the river.
We liked the layout, bedrooms, and location of this property. When we had problems getting the TV to work, our request to the front desk staff was met with impatience and frustration. It was probably directed at the age and condition of the TVs, but felt like it was directed towards us.
Love the area. We didn't get room refresh and I would highly recommend check in staff knows the good restaurants in the area. Best in town, Arrowleaf is just across the street! We stumbled on it. We were given the cheap taverns. Floors in the room had really dirty floors too. This place was great years ago but it has gotten rundown.
Beautiful location near river. A very rude woman checked us in. The room was dirty, I was so glad I brought my own bedding. They have bedspreads that don't get washed between guests unlike most hotels/motels these days who use duvets.
