"This is a nice home centrally located to train stations. We did have an issue with the beds as there were no actual mattresses, just pads. The 2 queen bed mats slipped and slid on the wood bed platforms. The heated floors were a nice feature. All the appliances worked. 2 chairs were wobbly or broken. The storage closets were a mess and disorganized, but that did not effect our stay. Being from US, we did not understand the trash bin system but it was never taken off property. "The Shinagawa apt was a wonderful home base for our 2 week stay in Tokyo. The space is bright and clean with a full kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood with convenience stores/ supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Do yourself a favor and go to the neighborhood bath house--a 3 minute walk from the apt. There are 2 train stations within a 10 minute walk from which to branch out to wherever you want to go. "First night stay for first time in Japan. Not super easy to locate on Google maps using English but it was still pretty seamless finding the building. Short walk with some uphill. Great space, basic hygiene products provided. Quiet and convenient location."

"This was our second time staying at this property. Masa-san and his wife are incredibly kind, generous hosts. We love the neighborhood - so close to the Asakusa subway for easy access. Peaceful neighborhood that also has great energy. We will stay here again and again!"

"It is close to the station, about a minute walk across the railroad crossing, and there is a Japanese izakaya on the first floor and a café and family mart nearby. The living room is larger than most hotel rooms and refreshing. Everything in the apartment looks new. The space is large and perfect for a family vacation. The railroad tracks are nearby, so that is the only concern for some people."

"Beautifully appointed modern two bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in safe, working class neighborhood. 7 minutes to JR station and similar distance to subway. Only 20 minutes to Shinjuku and Tokyo stations. 30 minute taxi to Haneda Airport. Comfortable apartment with large kitchen table. Washrooms include bathtub and a walk-in shower. Good instruction manual for appliances provided. My only suggestion is for the manager to provide Check-In information a few days sooner and respond to our inquiries...
