I had made food in advance and frozen it, and we were able to heat everything up in the oven to enjoy. The kitchen felt like being at home. It was quite chilly outside during our stay, but the house was cozy and warm. Our dog loved the mostly-fenced yard to get to run each day. If you have little adventurers, know that Turkey Creek is in the backyard and will require monitoring. ...

"The home was serviceable for our short stay. However the pictures and descriptions are somewhat misleading. Many doors don’t function properly and/or need the latches replaced. Lightbulbs were missing, bathrooms show signs of water damage and the unit is generally in poor condition. The management was communicative and check in/out was seamless the home is in a good location relative to restaurants, the airport and UAB."

"Had a group of guys on a golf trip to play some of the local RTJ courses. Place was close enough to the courses and some other spots including grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants. Allowed us to be able to come back and walk to restaurants after long day on the course. The game room worked well for the group and while the home isn’t large it worked out just fine."

"We had major plumbing issues shortly after we arrived on Friday, 1 person used the shower and it backed up into the toilets, we couldn’t flush the toilets and had to use a store’s bathroom for bowel movements. We had 10 of us. It was obviously an ongoing problem because there were signs in both bathrooms saying not to flush anything but toilet paper. I am angry because it took 3 phone calls and several text messages to get a plumber in on Saturday at 10:30. The main line kept telling us someone...

"Easy check-in and clean property. Not the most modern home but was very reasonable for the price. Backyard was nicely fenced. Only marginal “complaint” was the initial strong aroma of cleaning material..like Pine-Sol. It took 24 hrs for the smell to settle. "
