"We had an amazing time on our trip. The cottage is clean and stocked with everyday kitchen items like pans, plates, coffee mugs, coffee pot etc. Dish soap is provided. We were thrilled to see a washer and dryer! The beds were comfortable as well. There is a full sized refrigerator to stock with food you can pick up from Costco in Kona. I loved the landscaping and enjoyed looking up all the flowers. We were able to drive less than 10 minutes to watch the sunrise every morning at the Black Sand beach! The Volcano is only a 30 minute drive as well. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Punalu'u Bakery 20 minutes away for the best breakfast! Overall we felt very comfortable staying at the Pahala Cottages. "

"Tranquility, walking distance to the Black Sand beach. Clean, washer and dryer was very convenient. The bed and pillows were amazing! Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Love this place, hope to come back again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Lavaland in the Lava bus. The bus was comfortable, clean, warm, and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We loved the star-filled skies, outdoor shower, delicious honey and eggs, and the lava landscape. The owners are welcoming and kind, and they gave us a tour of the unique property. We hope to return soon!"

"Very quiet location the host was very flexible and responsive. There is no kitchen but bbq has a burner on the side. And the yurt came with all the pots and pans you would need. The yurt it self if very spacious the sky light offers great star gazing from your bed and nice natural light in the day. It is not to far of a drive from amazing attraction like black sand beach and volcano national park. I especially loved the dogs and the cats roaming the property. Wonderful glamping 10/10"
