"Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. "

"Host was very welcoming, then you are left alone with own entrance to property which is fantastic. The decor is just as you would expect from a budget guesthouse but everything is spotlessly clean. They have everything you need for a low cost and comfortable stay."

"Super place to stay - right on rhe beach and near the pubs and restauarants. Secure parking round the back or parking on the green. The room was fabulous, splotlessly clean, tea and coffee, and bottled water . Breakfast was superb and the staff are lovely and friendly. I will definitely return !"

When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. "When we arrived we can’t contact the property and hotel.com didn’t pass our information to the property so the property didn’t keep the house for us fortunately they got a spare house so we can stay in"
