"We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. "Lovely house with enclosed garden for our dog. Fridge and freezer needed a good clean and the cups needed replacing ( cracked and badly stained). Otherwise all was good!"

"Great location, excellent place to stay. Couldn't be happier. Would consider staying there again if in the area. Only thing we could have done more of is kindling for the fire but that's a very, very minor thing compared to all the many positives"

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."
