"It would be pretty hard to beat the convenience of this location. You can walk to pretty much anywhere in Boston from here. Subways were close, there's plenty of places to eat right near by. The communication from the property management was excellent. Expect this place to be... quirky. It's definitely run down. The elevator was an adventure, though it always ran. The water pressure is lacking. The floor was very squeaky. Our room was very dark. And the bed was not particularly comfortable. But...

"We loved this apartment. It is beautiful, lots of closet space, big king beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus was stocked with some basic foods like coffee, milk, sparkling water, etc. It had plenty of room to hang out in the living area, and was a lovely Place to sit and watch the city wake up in the morning.The hosts were so helpful and responsive."

"Excellent food choices nearby. Location was perfect. Good neighborhood. Easy access to train/ bus. The parking was a plus! Steep stairs but firm handrails. My kids did not have any issues going up or down the stairs. Loved to have a bathroom and bedroom available on main floor. The lower level is super comfortable and roomy. This was our first time in Boston and this duplex was perfect for us. I would stay here again if we visit some other time. "

"The unit is nice and spacious. Very clean. Interior decoration could really use some work. Furniture was cheap. There were exposed hanging hooks all over the bedroom. But other than that it’s quite comfortable. Very strange third party check-in process. Coffee machine didn’t work. Did not provide dishwasher pods or coffee filters. But the real issue is the location. Area feels dangerous. Plan your days carefully and make sure to get a car whenever you leave the unit."

The bathroom door barely opens. The sheets did appear clean and the bathroom sink, but the floors...

She said she had nothing to do with Vrbo and no listed properties. We called Vrbo and they could not get through to her. Meanwhile we had no place to stay and had to get a hotel at higher price. "The historic brownstone had tremendous charm and was lovely. There was a problem with the heat not working and repeated requests for something to be done were met with conflicting information about possible repairs, but nothing was done.
