"A nice property very convenient to attractions. There was no hot water in the late afternoons or early evenings, but we survived! One problem (and I think it's Expedia's fault) is that the amenities described on the Expedia site include "Tour and ticket assistance" This was not true for this property; other than calling for a taxi service, they could not help with any tour or theatre tickets. When I am traveling in another country, having a concierge service is important to me."

"The hotel is located o the second floor over a pub in the centre of the banking district. It’s a beautiful old building and the rooms have a a lot of original features. The hotel was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the centre of London. The staff are very helpful and we were lucky that our room was ready early. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. there was a fridge in the room with some complimentary soft drinks and fresh milk. Those was also an espresso maker....

"Access with baggage is a bit challenging from the street and once inside. Staff were helpful and kind. Location so close to Waterloo station is a big plus. En suite bathroom very nice if a little on the small side. Bed comfy. Train line next to the window provided some noise until quite late."

"Booked the hotel as needed something close to Pinewood Studios. We were pleasantly surprised. We were given a free drink in the bar, 10% off food and drink and a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend "
