"This place is very clean and the rooms are large. I enjoyed the walk down to the water, which is close by. Kitchen was well stocked. I, too, felt a railing on the stairs would be helpful. I am new to the Vacasa connection, so that took some learning, but all went well. "

"Bayside is wonderful in the fall/winter season - very quiet, lovely views, nice walks on a variety of roads, interesting houses to look at. Our cottage was well situated, warm, comfortable beds, easy to use kitchen, 2 well-equipped bathrooms, quiet neighborhood. A small drawback was the lack of reading lamps in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, for those who like to read themselves to sleep. "We love this property for its size and location. We stayed here in 2018. However this time dishwasher was not secured and we needed to have one person hold it in or it would fall out. Also there were not enough towels available. Aside from some basic maintenance, it was as expected and hosts were responsive to our questions and concerns."

"Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The house is great but it needs a little upkeep. New throw rugs and upholstery cleaned. The beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable but the cleaning crew should be fired. The rest of the house wasn't very clean. There was even a pair of men's underwear on the deck from a previous guest. The location was perfect though."
