"Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We really enjoyed this property for our 4th visit to the Maine mid-coast area this year. It was a private and quiet setting surrounded by trees decked out in beautiful fall foliage. Easy access to Camden and many idyllic little townships. Some beautiful hiking nearby too. The house was tidy with an easy layout and good beds. We lacked nothing and were very comfortable. Host Mark was quick to respond if we had any questions. The house is multi-level so there are stairs.We will stay again...

"Arrived to a clean, well decorated cottage. Smaller than expected for four adults. The view made up for any shortcomings. A small screened in porch, a deck, large flat granite rocks, the outside seating options are numerous. Best part of our day, coffee on the deck watching lobster boats, hearing loons, marveling at the sunrise. Be aware the use of the fireplace is prohibited. Would have been great on a rainy day. "This was a perfect, toasty warm, place for family to stay over the Christmas holiday. The open floor plan on the first floor is wonderful for communicating. The one year old enjoyed walking around this area. We enjoyed the big dinning table for meals, board games, and wrapping gifts. The beds were very comfortable. Two of the bedrooms have a water view in winter! The property managers are exceptionally attentive. They went above and beyond coming first thing in the morning to shovel snow!"

"The home was better than expected. It's one of the few times that photos did not do the beautifully appointed home and perfect location enough justice. I booked the home for a girlfriend gathering - we all wished we had husbands and kids along to enjoy this property and location. There was a small snafu with water that had nothing to do with the owners - that said, they were readily available to help remedy in any way. Communication was top notch as were Sue's thoughtful recommendations for us...

"Our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of space as far as bedrooms and bathrooms go. So much common space to enjoy a fire, meals, and outdoor space.
