"It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire! Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other. We would go back any time. "

"We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. "

"Extremely easy self-check in after hours. Property was clean and staff checking out the next morning was very friendly and personable. Only comment was that floor seemed a little uneven - part of the charm of an older property I guess! Very quiet off-season stay - would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Close to many amenities. Didn't sit down to breakfast, but charming porch seemed to have a pretty decent selection of options, and the juice I grabbed to go was good!"

"The room was amazingly beautiful and the hosts were helpful. The problem was the room was freezing and would not get warm. Luckily it was just a couples getaway so I was able to run home and get a small heater. If you are going to be open in the winter make sure the heater works!! We will definitely stay again just not during the winter. "

"What a great house for our family of 20 plus!! Property was awesome with enough space to spread out and enjoy the Maine fall weather with cookouts and bonfires!! "Our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. Plenty of space as far as bedrooms and bathrooms go. So much common space to enjoy a fire, meals, and outdoor space. The beach is very wide during low tide and an added perk. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan a return trip."
