"Pros: clean, close to lake access through a resort (with a fee), good room inside for 6 guys and gear. Supplied well with kitchen essentials. Stove and refrig were clean and worked. Cons: Parking with a truck and trailer was a challenge--on a busy road. The one bathroom was very, very small especially for taller people. Overall, a good stay."

"Great property, especially from the double kitchens, double set washer/dryers, jacuzzi tubs, double family rooms and much more! Served our family gathering of 14 people well. From the ages of 1 year old to a 90-year-old. The campfires were popular with everyone. The managers were extremely helpful with recommendations and very responsive if we needed anything. We give this host and property a five-star rating!"

"Westwood was very comfortable for our family. 5 adults. The setting is completely perfect. Secluded and private in the woods. Ideal spot for a quiet vacation. Had everything we needed for meal prep and was very clean. I couldn’t find many reviews of this quiet, lakeside resort but decided to book anyway and I am so glad we did!"

"Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!"
