"Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!"

"The lake is legit, the chonkiest walleyes! Something to note, which wasn’t on the listing: there is no garbage service provided at this cabin. we stayed for 2 weeks, and it was a real hassle, especially because there is a garbage company that services the area. there are no places in town to drop off a bag full of trash. the kitchen is well-appointed, and the toilet paper isn’t one-ply :)"

"Our trip to Julian’s Cabin was amazing. We stayed on the Thieves’ Den. The beach was perfect for my kids with a very shallow entry. We took the canoes out for a bit as well. My children turned into fish during the week when we weren’t exploring the surrounding trails. Judy is an excellent host. The cabin is complete with everything you possibly could need and Judy is just one cabin over if you ever have a problem or question. "The cabin was in a beautiful location on the lake. The inside was very clean and spacious. Pool table was a bonus! My son loved it. The lake access was nice and the cabin had a canoe and 2 kayaks you could use. Kitchen was stocked with all the appliances you would need and they had lots of board games and card games too. Fire pit area was nice but we couldn’t use it due to a fire ban the week we were there. The cabin was a couple miles off the main road on a gravel road but the directions given...
