"We haven’t left yet, but thought we’d share how things are going. The check-in was smooth. We were able to check in early (for a fee). There is also a parking fee. There are plenty of carts to assist with luggage and coolers and such. There’s plenty of activities available (Magiquest, Build a Bear,waterpark, characters, bowling) and lots of on-site food and beverage options (sit down, ice cream, pizza), a gift store. "Since I’m visiting near post snow season, parking is easy and the resort is not crowded. Hard to find dining options apart from the cafe and restaurant in the lodge. You have to drive 30mins to Petoskey or Boyne city to eat. Hotel room is clean but old. And the staff are nice on cleaning the room. It’s not far to walk to the lift especially they have lift-side ski valet for free to securely keep your equipment."

"Our room was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel seams a little dated, could use some upgrades. We were on a weeklong ski trip and this was only one of our stops, so we had to bring in a lot of items that we would need later due to the extremely cold temps. Although they have hand carts, the rooms are not all on the same level, so we had to stop and carry items to our room. Just an inconvenience. Overall We liked it."

"We had the best time with our extended family! There was plenty to do for the whole family ages 1-65, we barely left the property! The staff and host were very responsive and easy to interact with, especially Tricia, Nick, and Mackenzie, and we had every amenity we could think of. The side by side houses were perfect for our family, and the ease of sharing amenities like beach and grill made it seamless. THANK YOU for a memorable family trip - we hope to come back! "

"My extended family and I had a great time at this property! The houses are beautiful, clean, and accommodating. Close proximity to downtown traverse city, old mission peninsula, and much more! Would definitely recommend for a family vacation destination!"

"Janet and her husband are very friendly and gracious hosts. They were available to answer all questions and even brought firewood for the pit. The units were clean and each one has its own refridgerator. Charcoal grills were helpful cooking for 16 guys. We utilized the main unit for all prep work and cooking breakfast because of the large oven and space. "This was such a wonderful place. Very thoughtfully set up and executed. A place you can explore so many fantasies in a safe place. My husband and I were able to spend a nice long weekend reconnecting and trying new experiences. Best vacation we have ever had"

"This is a different hotel experience. There is not a front desk or on-site staff but the communication via text is excellent. We had an issue with our heat and it was solved reasonable quickly. The person who fixed it also helped coordinate an extension for our stay. The lake view is amazing and there is a trail in the back of the property for walking or biking. The common areas are also comfortable and clean. "
