Hampton Inn St Ignace Lakefront Mackinac
5/5 Excellent
Worth the Stay
"I booked a room for myself and 4 children. The room that was assigned to us was great! It was very roomy with a king size bed, a set of bunk beds, and a pull-out sleeper couch. The room was immaculate and free of stains & repairs. The kids loved the kitchenette. Everything was very user-friendly and allowed them to be self-sufficient in making their own snacks. I was able to connect my Netflix account to the hotel tv so we could watch a movie before bed. Only two downsides was the view. Our room was right over the hotel’s main entrance so we had the backside of the lit-up awning as our view, which was quite boring. But the breakfast area and outdoor patio opened up to a beautiful view of the lake. We never had time to visit the pool or arcade. Also, we woke up too late to sample the continental breakfast to know how it rated. I would definitely stay at this location again, maybe try to get a lakeside room next time. The hotel is on the main drag but further down the road, away from all the restaurants and Shepler’s Ferry, it was very peaceful without any road noise. "
