"Every morning, the sunrise over the lake was a perfect start to the day.The house itself is cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you could need. The location is ideal for exploring the north shore. The hosts gave some helpful local tips about restaurants, as well as other activities and attractions. The hosts were incredibly communicative and made the entire process smooth and easy. "

"This cabin was a nice cozy cabin with enough sleeping room for the six adults we had plus we had one more bed for a single. It was located where we needed it to go further north or to go into Duluth. It was great. We came back one day and there were just four deer roaming around the property and the other day when I woke up there was one peeking in the window. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend. If I was gonna stay at Christmas, I would bring Christmas decorations....

It lists a hot tub amenity, a jetted tub is not a hot tub. Receiving multiple texts almost every day of your stay is annoying. I don't want to fill out a survey about the cleanliness when I'm on my trip. The fire place vent blower is LOUD, didn't use the fireplace b/c its so noisy. "The living room is really comfortable and has little fold out tables if you decide to eat and watch tv. Big dining table, full kitchen. It is a really old home with a lot of charm. I loved all the little rabbit and the black and gray squirrels that come out every morning (I’m sure less likely to see them in the middle of winter. The owner is very responsive and nice. We didn’t hear anything from her except when we needed another key. Has a nice little deck and garden in the back. Good place...

"It was a great location, very clean, rustic, and right on the lake. Each unit is individually owned and decorated, ours was clearly loved for many years dating some pictures of the owners I would guess back to the 70’s-80’s. Beds were comfortable. Pool area was great, sauna and hot tub were HOT which was awesome after a day filled with hiking in the snow."
