"Completely satisfied. Last minute booking. Everything clean and exceeded expectations. Not clear why older reviews were mediocre. Great value. Obviously not 5 star hotel, but certainly 3 star. If you want 5 star, go to Dubai."

"Loved the serenity of the grounds, the porches in the view of the river. Check in was very friendly. The room was clean. We ate at the restaurant as we did not want to get back in the car. I found the restaurant very pricey and had a very small menu. However food was good."

"Rooms are expansive although somewhat dated. Much movie star history exhibited by numerous pictures hung about the second floor. Interesting interior architecture. Elevator was somewhat clunky due to age but got the job done."

"Stayed in Holbrook a week ago for this cross country move. I was at another place very nearby and there is no comparison - this new La Quinta is far superior in terms of being new, cleanliness, amenities, location…to date, this is the only place we’d stay in Holbrook. "
