"Highly recommend this charming, historic place. Well appointed. Has everything you need for your stay. Cozy…yet plenty of space for everyone. Looks like it was just renovated. Took my daughter and two granddaughters for a ski weekend. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here. "

"The duplex was clean and quiet. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make dinner, although there was no kitchen towel for drying hands and dishes (very minor). Three bedrooms, two with a double/queen, one with a single, and it looked like the couch in the living room was a pull out. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Wi-fi worked well. Couldn't ask for anything more. I would stay here again if in the area. "

"We were really only at the house for the late evenings, nights, and mornings. We found the kitchen well stocked to make breakfast (we bought the groceries). The beds were comfortable. Only a couple minor issues that we just handled. The temperature control was preprogrammed to go to 50 degrees in the evening and overnight. We couldn't seem to reprogram it; however, did get it to kick up warmer about midnight or so. The shower in the main floor bathroom was hard to get turned off so the...

"Sadly we were only here for a couple of nights, but this place was very nice. I manage vacation rentals myself and i was very impressed by the cleanliness of this place, especially considering the size of it. The house is great for a family with lots of room to spread out. Our grandkids enjoyed tinkling on the piano and playing in the backyard. Would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"We needed to find a VRBO last minute between Ludlow & Hartford large enough to accommodate 5 adults & a dog. A beloved family member had passed. We had several events to attend in a few different locations. This was the only VRBO to meet these needs. I cannot thank Matt enough for his timely & helpful communications. He was also honest about the condition of the rental. I read all the reviews for which most were accurate. The most positive aspects for us were the clean, soft & comfortable beds....

"This apartment is a real gem. We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Our hosts gave all the information we needed prior to arriving so we didn't have to ask lots of questions. The neighborhood is very safe with lots of families in the neighborhood walking dogs, etc. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Springfield!"

"Pristine can mean several different things. My interpretation was to be “like new”. This dwelling did not quite live up to that standard, but was clean, sans the “mud room” and what appeared to be mold on the peak of the ceiling above the living room. The original listing stated firewood was provided by the host. Then, the checkin instructions stated guests provided their own. Not huge, just misstated in the listing (since changed). "Very clean, good host, well stocked kitchen, good location in Springfield, good beds and bathrooms, quiet. Living room and dining room have very unusual dramatic red furniture and a throne chair, but we enjoyed the eccentric touch. "

"Was in town with a friend for the weekend. Great base for exploring downtown on foot, and for out of town travelers like me who don't have a car. Decent kitchen setup, too, for those looking to cook at home. Debra was very responsive as a host. Great spot! "
