"Had a conference for the weekend and it was ideal to stay at the same place. The lunch options were good. The buildings/rooms are a little dated, and given the reason for my stay were fine. I wouldn't book to stay for a relaxing weekend where I'd be making more use of the room"

"The hotel was clean and the decor was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy and spacious, well furnished. The only thing I noticed was a hole in the window and some of the outside window sills had paint peeling off. The leasure facilities were small but very usable. The food was very good quality and great value. The overall stay was excellent value. "

"Enjoyed a 2 night dinner bed and breakfast deal which represented incredible value for money. The staff throughout the hotel were polite and welcoming, the room was a good size, and patio doors onto grass was just what we had asked for to enjoy the good weather. Whilst the room felt a little tired, it was comfortable and functional. The restaurant staff were incredibly polite and professional, and the inclusive 3 courses much better than expected. Breakfast was comprehensive also with full and continental offerings. The pool was warm and facilities looked comprehensive, if not all used. Views to the golf course were stunning, and the driving range offered free loan of clubs for the range. Overall great value package and enjoyable stay."

"I’ve stayed here many times so I was unhappy that changed in my plans was not accommodated on request. Poor customer service on Hilton’s behalf - I had requested to change my date and was declined. That said, the room was clean and the breakfast service and offer much improved from previous stays. Rooms are a little dated and never like a shower with a curtain but for the price and convenience you can’t grumble. Does feel like an uninvested Hilton though"
