"This home was absolutely incredible, the pictures don't really do it justice. The rooftop deck gives great views of the sunset and the pool was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. There were multiple spaces to hang out during the day and evenings and we took full advantage of the kitchen. Overall we would absolutely recommend this home!"

"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"We initially had some challenges getting ahold of the manager when checking in, but that was resolved. It was close to many sights and a short walk to a small grocery store, which was really convenient. Would stay at this property again!"

"Beautiful place and location on a one way street, a busy street, parking could be a problem. But we could always find a spot somewhere. The house had everything you would need. We found the top three steps of the stairs difficult for the 2 small children. Small grocery store right across the road, bakery up the road. Short walk to the ocean, fishing harbour, restaurants and shops We experienced 3 festival or celebrations in our week there. We would stay there again"

"I enjoyed the feeling of having my own pad in Nordeste! The parking was super easy with quick access to the home. It was a bit chilly to use the pool but coming home to them every day was a nice experience. The interior of the home was functional and modern while upholding the charm of a Nordeste home. "Our group of 5 adults had a wonderful week at House of Hydrangeas, a very comfortable home with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was so relaxing hearing the surf and the waterfall. The house was in the perfect central location for day trips to explore all parts of the island.
