"There really isn’t anything nearby our hotel. no convenient store. It is very quiet and peaceful. Be mindful of this before you book in Gora Otherwise this place is exceptional. It is very clean. We were stunned by the interior design and lighting design. Everything feels brand new including both main building and Ayakan, which is where we stayed. Dinner were 6 course meals. Food came very fast and we have our next course within seconds of finishing our previous course. Would "

"Great hotel in peaceful area. Easy to walk to from the rope/cable cars. I didn’t realize that the photo of the hotel with the pool that has sitting area in a circle is not a pool, it is just a water feature/fountain with a hot foot bath on the side. Also the spas here are gender separate and traditional onsen with no clothing allowed. They have spa service onsite but it fills up quickly. We got to enjoy the 2 massage chairs for free, which we absolutely loved. Our room had a private onsen bath on the balcony which was great!! It was only big enough to fit 1 person, FYI. Buffet dinner included alcoholic beverages as well. Thank you for a great stay!"

"Enjoyed 2 nights with delicious breakfast at this very comfortable hotel. 2 minute walk to train on flat terrain. Stay in hotel, 2 wings and you'll be close to everything like snacks from 3 to 7 and alcohol and dessert from 7 to 10 pm. Unlimited drinks like water, soda and tea. Masseuse is excellent!"
