"This is a great place to stay if you’d like to visit Costa Rica and really experience the city in a way tourists don’t usually get to. Warren was a fantastic host and will help you find whatever you are looking for. He was even available to take us on tours out of the city, all you have to do is negotiate a price (he was as good as any tour guide and less pricey!) I loved the stay there and was very thankful to find this hidden gem."

"I had to cancel my trip very last minute due to plans falling through and the staff was extremely kind and understanding about it. They were very easy to get in touch with on WhatsApp. Although I wasn’t able to actually stay here, the communication and customer service was great!"

"Very quiet , away from the noisy city. Near the Poaz Volcano. Breakfast included, delicious ! The 3 max-person accommodations are great, well equipped for a rustic, yet comfortable stay. Staff were vert attentive. Thanks Norman and Hortensias Chalet staff !"

"Great little place to stay after or before a flight. Handy to get to the airport and the town was more chill than SJ. No AC so it was a bit warm. Nice family run place. Great restaurant on the block La Sopa."

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near the San Jose airport in Costa Rica and had a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for anyone needing quick access to the airport. The facility itself was fairly updated, and my room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the space felt clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. One of the highlights was the excellent fresh breakfast, which featured wonderful fruit and a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and quality service. I’ll definitely stay here again when traveling through San Jose!"
