It was my daughter’s birthday & the 3 girls had the basement to themselves which included bedroom (double bed & twin bunk), bathroom, game room with pool table & TV, as well as access to deck with hot tub. "Melissa the host is amazing!! Super helpful and very easy to reach and communicate with -response time was always super quick!! Cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we could need/want!! Hot tub was perfect!! We've stayed at a lot of vrbo's and hot tubs are typically warm water and hopefully 1 jet works! This hot tub was hot, clean and lots of jets!! Perfect:) The stars at night were clear, plentifully and amazing!! The fireplace outside was nice and you can get a roaring fire...

"Cain is wonderful in a great location and very spacious. Everything was as advertised everything worked. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water. The views from this property are amazing. Fires in the fireplace every night. We did not have any negative issues even though we were snowed in for 2 days we had an amazing time! Be sure to have 4/all wheel during snow season. Newland has a lot to offer as does Roan Mountain. Mikes coffee is really good just a short drive into Newland. Not gonna...

"Our party of four adults really enjoyed the cabin. We mostly treated it like a motel room. No cooking or use of the jacuzzi. But the kitchen was set up well and seemed to have all the equipment and utensils necessary. The decor was rustic without going overboard. Beds were comfy.Great location, Easy access to property. We may certainly return if the need for a larger place arises again."

"We had a great stay here! Beautiful views. Short walk to top of mountain. If stairs aren’t your thing you might want to skip. We really had a wonderful time getting away from the city. Hosts communicated all through out the stay. They are really accommodating folks. Can’t wait to see this place with some snow! Wish I was still there <3"

"We arrived in a very windy winter storm, the host called on our way to make sure we were aware of when the road would no longer be salted/city maintained. We made it in fine. The cabin was very quaint and quite cozy. The WiFi was down due to the storm but that just made it all the better as we were looking for a getaway from it all.
