DISGUSTING staff I respectfully checked in, settled for a bit as I waited for the person I was with to arrive...I was very respectful to the male at the front desk yesterday just hoping to have a nice VALENTINES DAY. started off horrible as when my partner arrived she was rudely addressed at the front door by the same male working the shift February 14th, 2020 the hours of approx 6pm-12am, and I still proceeded to move on and have a nice stay but as I tried to clear up the situation, clarifying this was my partner in my room, this man proceeded to bash us both and even threatened a refund and told us to leave if there’s a problem, unprofessional idk who hired this man or why he’s still around because I noticed he was having a similar problem with a guest as I walked in but I didn’t think much of it. Sadly this miserable human being apparently couldn’t allow a nice night for anyone and because I was disrespected and offended I tried asking for the refund I was offered only to find an empty front desk and this man is outside the front door smoking and then declined to give me my money back as he previously stated he would and told me to “call someone”. If there’s any shred of professionalism in this company, I would like to seek a refund as I wasn’t given a fair chance at all and my night was completely shaken up by this miserable person.

I tried to cancel my reservation they took my money and took my reservation and gave my room away after I called manager wasn’t available for four days then declined my request for a refund

GOOD: Not too noisy/crowded location. BAD: Bed sheets were stained. Bed was very old and springs got stuck in our backs many times. Room heater was super old and made a LOUD noise during the night. Walls were cracked and paint faded. Bathroom was the least bad part of the room, towels were clean. Floor carpet was torn up and stained. Halls had a weird old smell. SERVICE: Had to ask 2 days in a row so they would change the bed sheets. Receptionists were nice but didn’t do anything about what I asked until I asked more than once. OVERALL: 3 out of 10

Easy location to access from the subways. So many little grocery shops and convenient stores right around the corner. Safe & quiet location. My boyfriend and I had a jam packed weekend and were really just looking for somewhere to sleep. If you’re just wanting a bed-and a safe and convenient place to stay than look no further!

I spoke with patrick on the phone when i made my reservation. He assured me that i would be on the first floor and have a working tv. " of course. We will take good care of you". I have limited vision and that is why i requested first floor. When i got there, tv did not work. This was important to me. They put me on the second floor where i would have to do much nsvigating thru doors before i even got to my room. The entire hallway smelled like cig smoke and was filthy. No smoking hotel. Because of my vision problem i did not feel safe abd cancelled my reservation and left. I had to roam around the streets of ny with my luggage before i could find somewhere to stay. This was extremely scary and full of anxiety for me since it was difficult to see in the dark. I would like my money back.

The room looks nothing like the photos. Tv was literally hanging on it’s side, rug, sheets. Towels were dirty. Restrooms had no toilet paper. When requested they told us we had to wait till the following morning it was 4pm.

It's a very minimal old style property. No amenities, just a refrigerator in a small cramped up room. The property is not well maintained. Decent if someone is on a budget constraint.

Quite Ok, near subway stop, a bit hot in the room
Stayed 5 nights late May 2019 on a vacation. Quite good location, just few blocks from the nearest subway (110th St). Seemed like safe neighbourhood with some shops, restaurants, and delis within walking distance, and just few blocks from central park. An old building and small room but was quite Ok for us. A tiny bathroom w/ shower so a bulkier person might get in trouble. The room had only a ceiling fan so it got quite hot in May, making sleeping a bit difficult. Otherwise, no complaints. A bit pricey as you can expect in Manhattan. Not much services other than a small reception in the lobby but we didn't really need any. Could stay again, though mid summer would probably avoid due to lack of AC. The room had a mini fridge (handy) and a flat-screen tv (didn't use). There was a small communal kitchenette on the hallway w/ micro and a sink but didn't use it.
