"The hotel was old and badly needs updating in terms of interiors. The elevators were beat-up looking. The bathrooms and rooms were spacious and clean but the furnishings were old. It seems only a piece or two of furniture here and there were reupholstered recently. The sheets were clean but scratchy with low thread count and the pillows although down feathers- was near empty/hollow. The closet pantry was well stocked but smelled awful (at least) in our room. "It's a great value and there really is no staff as this is self-check in so don't expect much. It is across street from the train station so that is VERY convenient but the area is not good especially at night. Do not walk around alone. But it is a great value and fine for one night. I stay here several times per year."
