"Nice spot to stay for a night. Great location to Nelson shops. We had an issue getting into the hostel as they ask you to call reception, however I did not have a cell phone plan to call. I emailed the hostel and did not recieve a response. We eventually were able to get someone's attention, however it would have been easier if a door code was emailed to us prior to our check in time. On the flip side of the coin, this place is very secure :) "

"Tide Hotels knows how to do hospitality! Right from when I arrived I was welcomed as if I had been a guest many times before. Room service and restaurant service was friendly, meals were of good portion size and tasty. The room is well appointed with a comfortable bed and deck overlooking the river (if you choose this option). Shower has good water pressure and the bath salts provided are really nice. Would 10/10 stay again "

"Staff were very helpful and accommodating and changed our room to a ground floor when checking in. Love the area close to eating places and the beach. Room was not huge but only there for one night so served its purposes. Clean and comfortable would definitely stay again. "
