The property is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by established trees and only about 7 minutes from Mapua.The quality of the home, the decor, all of the supplies is first class. "The place had everything we needed. We cook a lot and there were ample kitchen utensils for all our needs. The wood fireplace worked great. We were able to walk to the water taxi and trail from the home. Highly recommend the home."

"Was ok no fishing rods and toilet broken when sitting on it lol over all isnt like advertised not worth money u pay will not be back again"

"Terrific stay. As the accurate listing shows, the view, deck, spa, and water access are such a treat. And the kayaks and paddle board are a great addition. The inside is also lovely, and has virtually everything you’d want. I’ve never stayed at a vacation home that was this well kitted out. Stay here if you get the chance!"

What would have made it 5 star would have been if the grass was cut and tidied with removal or replacement of the hexagonal table and the blue sofa has stains which is unpleasant to see.But overall we had a lovely stay"

"When we arrived the key was not in the lock box, but this was quickly rectified and the property manager came within 10 mins after a phone call, so this was not a huge problem… we are all only human!. It was not clear to me how much cleaning we were meant to do at the end. I was pretty sure I had paid to not have to vacuum etc but this was not clear in the email or at the bach itself. I called the property manager to find out. She said we had a late departure due to the key incident, however...

"Would not recommend staying here. Building work starts at 6.30am each day. House is freezing and only heat pump is so noisy it gives you a headache. Beds v uncomfy. And mice ate our food in the night. Obviously a big issue as traps everywhere… spoilt what could have been a lovely location."

"Thank you Fraser and Kelly, thoroughly enjoyed my stay. These two take immense pride in their facility and their guests' happiness. The Admirals is a lovely facility in close proximity and walking distance to the city centre, greenspace and quiet neighbourhoods. A quick bus ride gets you to beautiful Tahunanui Beach area. Easy to get to Abel Tasman National Park or stay in Nelson and experience a nice 30 min. hike to Centre of New Zealand. Great restaurants, cafes and retail shops. Beautiful area. Will definitely be back to Nelson."
