"Our room was very quiet since it was facing away from the train and the hotel was within walking distance to the fish market, a garden, and nearby Gion. Highly recommended."

"We stayed here at both ends of our trip. Staff was very helpful and had our luggage waiting in our room for us when we arrived. We had the 4 single beds, which worked for us. We booked it for the convenience to the train station so we could use our JR train passes. It allowed us to get 4 beds in one room. The beds are a little smaller than our traditional twin size beds. This did not have a microwave, but we knew that when booking. It was convenient to a major shopping center about 1 block away."
