"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. "It is an older building without elevator. It has a small onsen that only 4 people are allowed to use at the same time. Different onsen for male and female I have no problem using the onsen. The room has toilet and wash basin but no shower. Light breakfast is included. The Ryokan is located right in town. Just a short walk to the Yubatake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a decent place to stay overnight. "
