"Staff were very welcoming and relieved the stress from a very long journey. Room was lovely and had been recently renovated. Bathroom was excellent and the setting in general was beautiful being right on the river. Likely won't be back to the area until the same time next year, but won't bother looking at other hotels if the price is reasonable. Can't comment on food as we arrived late and left early, but the restaurant had a nice ambiance. "

"Stayed here on business. Amazing hotel (particularly liked the spa and pool area) food was also excellent. Only slight criticism was the mattress wasn’t very comfortable and the blankets weren’t sufficient other than that was an amazing trip. Would defo revisit. Also the dressing gown supplied was far too small and had 2 both in same size. I am 6ft3 and 17 stone would be fine but the average male but I am a big guy. Other than that can’t fault it. "
