"Likes: Interesting breakfast with the option for in-room dining. Beautiful minimalist design. Good size rooms. Environmentally conscious. Friendly staff and service. Onsen. Washing machines, vending machines, microwave, ice maker. Dislikes: Lack of parking (but understandable in a big city). Lots of noisy kids running up and down the corridor late at night after 10.30pm. Lots of kids in the onsen with parents/adults shouting at them to behave. Maybe a special floor for young children...

The property is located conventiently next to Hisayaodori station, with the station entrance on the corner of the block. Front desk staff speak english, making check in easy. "Overall hotel is good but minus some points as the room is kind of dusty when I checked in (bathroom door is dusty and pillow has some dust on it). Location wise it's quite a quiet area but just a few streets away is the Sakemachi station area where tons of nightlife and entertainment can be found. Located between two metro stations, it is a convenient location for staying. Another con is there is only 1 elevator for the entire building so sometimes there is a wait."

"We were a family with young children and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel itself is great - the size and amenities available (they have a whole range of baby items and other handy items that you can request for FOC) is unbeatable in Japan. However, the location of the property itself is in a seedy area, amidst rows of very colorful nightclubs. On the first night, we were awoken at 2am by a fight but otherwise we got back by 8.30pm every night and never felt unsafe."
