"The staff at this property are unbelievable. They go out of their way for you. The hotel has pretty much ski in, with access to the chair lift right outside the front door. Dinner is amazing, breakfast is not as good, but has plenty on offer with fruits, hot and cold options. "Good find for last minute in winter high season. It's basically a hostel. The common area and kitchen could be spruced up. The heater in the room was either too hot or had to be turned off. I opened windows and left it on to find the sweet spot. The bathrooms were down the hall and in a very cold hallway. Location was close to train station, close to shuttle to some resorts, Happo was 20 minutes away by walking or ¥800 on the infrequent bus. I walked. There are some decent restaurants close....
