Mario was very accommodating and let us store our luggage on the first and last day, but there was no early check-in available. "First and foremost, the location was the main draw. Right near the heart of downtown. Apartment located above owner's restaurant. The Wifi was not accessible. I solely used the room to sleep, so it wasn't a huge deal. The walk from Amsterdam Centraal was LONG (~30 min), so use the public transit. The view from the room was nothing to write home about. "This apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Volendam was an adorable town and we highly recommend the Volendam museum for local history. Bus stops and ferries were convenient for day trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoorn and Marken."
