All the staff went above and beyond for us....including a canal view upgrade, a complimentary buffet breakfast for both of us and a sparkly bottle with a lovely card on arrival. "The hotel is in a brilliant location just one stop to Amsterdam Central Easy for the airport and bus terminal there too. Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Room very comfortable, spacious enough and clean. Good continental breakfast Free drinks rather than towel change good idea. One small disappointment having to pay to leave luggage due to flight times, after check-out- €3 euros per person not terrible jyst unexpected I'd highly recommend the hotel brilliant value so thank you!! "

"My stay at the Ruby Hotel was great. The ambience is so chic and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming always willing to the help. There was also a restaurant/bar with small bites in the hotel which I didn’t get to try but the menu was always provided when asked. Metro was a 5 min walk, about 3 dinning restaurants within a 5-10min walk. Very quiet and clean area with a lovely marina near by. Just a 10 min car ride to the AMS airport you cannot beat that. About a 15-20 min car ride tops to the center city attractions. But my only concern was housekeeping as they didn’t do a throughly room clean. "

"The location is excellent, walking distance from the Central train station and close to bars, restaurants etc. It was also very quiet, though I stayed on Monday and Tuesday evenings which may be quieter than at the weekend (though it is opposite the police station so perhaps that helps keep things in order on the street outside!). I enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others. "
